Lucas Manoel da Silva Filho is a Baptist Preacher, seminary teacher, motivational speaker with emphasis on Christian philosophy, about to become a theologian, but in fact, an Australopithecus Urbanus who doesn’t like understatements or hidden information … And that was familiar with the little town life, in which I ended up falling in love with theater and its literature. But in 1989 I learned about computers and a program called CorelDraw and since, I quit the amateur theater and I’ve been looking for one place in the marketplace. In 1994 I started a course in Social Communication, which was interrupted by my wedding. Since then, I’ve become just a freelancer, doing silk-screen prints, small things on the Internet, illustrations, etc. Lately, I face the daily grind as illustrator and inker (lineart). I believe that working willingly, live a healthy Christian life and spread the truth with all our energy and enthusiasm, is the way we have to contribute for a better life.

Lucas Manoel da Silva Filho (lucasmanoel_7@hotmail.com) é Pastor batista, professor de seminário, palestrante motivacional com enfâse em filosofia cristã, quase um teólogo, mas na verdade um australopithecus urbanus, que não gosta de coisas escondidas ou meias palavras… E que “Estava acostumado com aquela vidinha “morrinha” do interior fluminense, quando acabei me apaixonando pelo teatro e sua literatura. Mas em 1989 descobri os computadores e um programinha chamado CorelDraw e desde então, larguei o teatro amador e venho buscando espaço no mercado. Em 1994 comecei um curso de Comunicação Social que foi interrompido por um casamento e acabei freelancer, fazendo impressões em silk-screen, pequenas coisas pela internet, ilustrações, etc. Ultimamente encaro a labuta diária como Arte finalista e dou aulas por aí. Creio que trabalhar de bom grado, viver uma vida cristã sadia e propagar a verdade com toda a nossa energia e entusiasmo, é o modo que temos de contribuir para uma vida melhor”.
